ON THE NAME OF MR. P----TT.
Have patience, good folks,
Spare your censures and jokes;
I know you have cause to complain;
If I don't do my best,
To see you redrest,
You shall have all your boxes again.
AN EPIGRAM.
What bustle and talk,
About M-----t and H-----e,
O Britons ! 'tis all a romance;
The secret's found out,
What the fleet went about,
To fetch fidlers and eunuchs from France,
Lett P--tt scold and brawl,
Vow vengeance and all,
And promise to find the rogues out:
While we've money to give
Dear Mingotti must live !
For operas we can't do without.
